This was an off night for our group with the exception of the Conterno, the Montrose, the Faiveley Les St. Georges, and the Fuligni Brunello.
Sometimes you can't win them all. Must have been a root day on the lunar calendar.
2017 Faiveley Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Saint Georges
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru
Starter wine. Lifted red fruit, some structure, but more pretty than brawny with a touch of spice. The group who I served it blind to thought it was Vosne. Not what one would expect from NSG.
