December each year, I always celebrate the Month of Joyful with great wines. This year 2008, my friends and I, we need to test Pomerol 1994, Le Pin, Lafleur, L’Evangile and Clinet…

1994 Château Le Pin 94 Points

Le Pin 1994, I drink it after L’Evengile 1994. Wowww…its clean and deep reminds me of Petrus but only the first glass then it changes. The structure is great but the aftertaste is better. Many layers is going down…layer upon layer…This is a delicious wine, the character of 1994 vintage makes this wine strong and the wine-maker makes this wine amazing.
After 4 hours, the last glass, it’s getting close to be perfect in texture and structure so…next bottle I must have more time for it.
Days passed by...I can't get it out of my head...I'm falling in love with this bad girl ? How pity I am...

1994 Château Lafleur 94 Points

Lafleur 1994 seems to be the real thing more than Le Pin. The scent is more flowery, the balance is very good and the finish is beautiful, full-filled, lovely powerful with a very long-finished. This is another great wine that you can not drink it fast, it will control your drinking-speed. Then brings you back into the delicate movement of a wonderful wine-fever. My friends voted it WOTN because of its elements. Moreover the price is 3 times less than Le Pin 1994.
I love to test it again on Christmas Eve this year...2008...

1994 Château L'Evangile 92 Points

L’Evangile 1994 ...มองผ่านช่องลอดของปลายแสง กลับเห็นเธออยู่ในช่องแคบๆของความคิดถึง… I love this wine but at this session, it’s a hard time for L’Evangile. Anyway, it can get along so nice. Lovely greeny, polite Pomerol scent, nice deep and delicious. Getting better with time and nice finished.
IMO, this is the best example for Pomerol wine when compares with La Conseillante, Vieux Chateau Certan, Latour A Pomerol or Clinet.
Drink 2009 - 2017....91-92/100....Tested 3 times in 2003, 2006 and 2008.
