    The bottle was gone. No noticeable ullage or cork leakage but the bottle was vinegar. Unfortunate as I have never had this Cab Franc.

    This was my favorite of the night together with the Alto Cab. Fruity (berry) aroma and smooth on the palate with a good bodied middle and finish. More notes to follow. (94 initially)

    When re tasted later I dropped the score a little - a long finish with a touch of acidity so not yet silky. Good tannins and body without any strong berry nose

    Given the reviews on this wine, I was a little disappointed. A nice cab but a little on the thin side with a shortish finish. More notes to follow.

    Light berry specifically cherry nose; very light as a cab with a lot of cherry - tannins very light too. I would not leave this to lie for too much longer.

    Nice tobacco earthy nose (not too strong) - well rounded and supple - moderately long finish with strong balanced tannins (note this was decanted for a few hours)
