While the tawny ports are interesting, I definitely preferred the Ruby (and better yet the vintage ports which unfortunately were not included due to budget constraints). My overall favorites were the Taylor Fladgate 2003 LBV and the Grahams fine ruby.

Very dark with raisin, lots of fruit and some tobacco. Finish is a little weak.

Nose is nice with lots of fruit and some chocolate. Dark fruits, a little sweet, not as complex as the grahams fine ruby. A little spicier.

Very dark with a pleasant nose - hints of raisin. Nutty, fruity, and floral? in the mouth. This is pretty good.

brown tinged color. Nice almond, nutty nose. Lighter thin nutty taste. Thin on the finish. Didn't score it.

NV Hardys Whiskers Blake Classic Tawny

nose of vanilla and almond. Nice nutty taste with an oily mouthfeel. Too sweet on the finish - tastes like mrs butterworths maple syrup. Long finish but just too sweet and syrupy. Did not score.
