    Tasted blind,
    Deep ruby red with a very californian nose of red berries, vanilla, herbs & spices. Very ripe with sweet and delicate tannin. Very young, you can feel the bitterness.

    Tasted blind, Very french like and most of the people in the group seems to agree. Little browish red with super pure scent of wild fruits, cedar, cassis, leather, smoke. Sweet soften tannin with long gentle finish

    Blind, deep dark red with tons of fruits . noticeable alcohol. The great part of this wine is its aftertaste. Big and long lasting.

    Deep dark ruby colour with crushed coffee, vanilla cream, black fruits and with the "yummy" smell of Mouton. Young and tough tannin, very big and very promising.

  • 1995 Château Lafite Rothschild Flawed

    My second bottle with the 95. tasted blind and it came last in my list. The funny thing about this is I scored it very high but noted that it wasn't much enjoyable to me.
    It boost a nice ruby red colour with. From the smell you can tell right away that this was not a perfectly stored bottle. I eventually came back with time showing some fruits. Good structure. Medium bodied wine which should have been a lot better.

    I've been pretty fortunate to have this very vintage several time. This time it still offers very constant opus character. Very french oriented. no particular note was taken
