Unlike the SB, this is not very good at all. Maybe this is pretty typical of $6 chards, but maybe that's a good reason to not to make $6 chard, or buy it.
Interesting blend. Not sure if I could have figured it out w/out knowing. It's bright enough, and has decent fruit. Just doesn't have that extra oomph that I was hoping for.
It seems Montinore had a terrible year in 2007. I really enjoyed their 2006 wines, but not the '07's. Weird orange rim color, at least for a 2007. Pretty nose, but then it goes donwhill. Earthy, but green earthy. Bitter. Not good. 78-79
This is a nice wine, if you're not too concerned about your pinot tasting, well, like pinot. Raz 'n strawberry on nose. So far, so good. Nice palate. Smooth and rich, with a little oaky flavors poking through. It's tasty, especially if you love that big rich style. However, it gets a little tiring on the palate, and a PN should never get tiring on the palate, so I guess this scores either 82 or 88+ points, depending on your point of view. Let's play nice and score it 87.
2007 Santa Ema Sauvignon Blanc 83 Points

Bright citrus nose. Decent fruit. It tastes like sauv blanc, and it's cheap. That's enough for me. 82-84
