Mineralic, volcanic ashes, deep red fruit, with hints of rubber. Light-medium body not far from burgundy. High acidity, long and elegant. Fairly tannic. Will probably age well for some 5-10 years. Good wine from an interesting region.
Brick red color with mature notes; leather, dried fruit, stables, vanilla and a round, sweet fruit. Full body, elegant and slender, long taste. Blind guess, mature Bdx or a Musar. Drinks very well now, I wouldn't keep it any longer in the cellar.
Red cherry and blackcurrant fruit. Oak and spices. Cedar. High acidity, high tannins. Elegant with good length - and veruy enjoyable. Blind guess; no doubt a bdx.
Blind tasting of 3 wines and their match with a Boeuf Bourgignon. The Bdx was the clear winner in terms of food-pairing. All wines were good, somewhere around 89-91pts perhaps.
