Sweet ripe fruit aromas, lots of black cherries and some savoury meaty notes. Palate is quite chewy, with brambley fruit and a bitter finish. A bit rustic and simple, but pleasant entry level VNdiM.

Soft, perfumed jammy baked fruit aromas mingling with some milk chocolate and earthiness. Sweet baked fruit on the palate, some creaminess, siky tannins, rich and savoury with a long finish. Still needs a few more years for full balance, but reasonably well integrated right now.

Bitter cherry aromas, very intense, with some stewed tea and truffle scents. Tough, chewy, but bags of fruit. Once through the tannin, there was delicious fruit on the finish. This will need many more years.

Lightly perfumed red berry fruit and some prune aromas. Soft ripe fruit, chewy tannins but slightly unbalanced right now. Will no doubt develop into a lovely wine however, since all the raw materials (fruit, acid, tannin and body) are there.
Fairly intense red fruit aromas, very ripe cherries and a vegetal note too. Soft, fruity, fresh and fleshy with well balanced tannin, and a pleasing warmth on the finish. Delicious drinking now and over the next 3 years.

Beautifully aromatic with black cherries to the fore, and a savoury hint in the background. Fresh, soft, fruity, juicy, smooth, well balanced...Tannin is still there, and is very ripe, so whilst this one is absolutely fantastic right now, the best thing about it is that it has the ability to continue to get better over the next few years.

Notes of black fruit, cedarwood and pencil shavings. Very complex. Palate is still nicely fresh, acidity is good and tannins are still chewy. Excellent wine now and will only improve through the next 10 years or so.
