  Peach, pear, and minerals on nose. Nice acid with red apple, floral notes. Off-dry, fresh, nice acidity. Easy to drink.

  Not as fresh as the Impulse tried prior. Dried stone fruit and tropical fruit, apricot, passionfruit. Slight petroleum, with a spice, ginger. Less acidity than desired with an off dry finish.

  Very clean and crisp. Lemon zest, pear, minerals, and a slight straw note. Light to medium bodied, with nice apple and pear, lemon with a touch of minerality. Finishes nice and dry with great acid.

  Citrus, grapefruit and lemon with a floral tone. Almost creamy texture, but with citrus peel, lemon curd, and minerals. Medium bodied with nice acidity.

  Nice raspberries and dried herbs on the nose. More blackberries on the palate with dusty tannins, more dried herbs, sage, light to medium bodied in texture and finishes with nice, high acid cherries.

  Nice and spicy black cherries, red plums, and toast on nose. Juicy up front with red cherries, vanilla, and bright acidity. Soft tannins, almost Cotes du Rhone-like. Easy to drink. Medium bodied.

  Deep purple color. Very spicy nose. Lots of black fruits, plum and berries. Same with palate. Almost reminds me of a domestic Syrah with the spice, and blackberries.

  Huge and smokey nose with vanilla, slight brett, and dried cherry fruit. Touch leathery too. The palate shows riper fruit, cherry, sweet oak and vanilla. Great acidity and moderate tannins. Finishes long with great fruit and acid.

  Liked the '01 Lorinon quite a bit better. Bright red cherries, simpler nose overall. Tight and tannic up front with dried berry fruit, spices, and high acid.

  Quite complex. Leather, cinnamon, smokey oak, and black fruits on nose. Lots of black fruits on palate as well, currants, cherry, and blackberries, along with spicy wood component. Great acidity, with more smoke on the finish. Good juice.

  Red and black berry fruits on nose. Currants, black raspberries, cherry. Sweet oak and vanilla on palate up front with black fruits supporting. The oak is a bit toasty and caramelized. Deep, long finish with nice richness.

  Starts off with plenty of SO2 and brett on nose. Not good. The nose also lacks any fruit. The palate is tight and tannic with black fruits, lots of oak and low acid. The fruit just doesn't shine through. A bit on the rustic side for me, particularly after having a bunch of fruit driven wines prior to this one.

  Ooh yeah. Rich on nose and palate. Earth, bitter chocolate, black olives on nose. Tons of wood with black currants, olives again, dried herbs, and muscular tannins on the palate. Finishes with huge tannins, moderate acidity, and ripe, rich black fruits and toast. This is a big boy.

  Thick like engine oil. Caramel, creamy mouthfeel, raisins, prunes, any other dried fruits you can think of. Lots of coffee, toffee, and other oxidized components. Thick, rich, sweet, viscous, low-medium acid. This is some seriously fun juice!!
