Lovely with incisive acidity and chalky fruit, delicate and delicious. pretty sure its based on 2003.

I'm glad that this wine and I will end our relationship with this bottle, as it is over the hill. Alcohol is loud and the fruit is oxidized. It was so good when it was young, this is just a shame.

A great wine, clean and focused, and extremely controlled, but fun and joyous. Beautiful round fruit and very good acidity, a fragrant finish. Paired beautifully with smoked fish.

1998 Château Simone Palette Blanc

Ripe and fresh fruit, great acidity. Some at the table said that although it is good wine, it is not developing the complexity that should be expected after 10 years. I enjoyed it very much, but I will admit that it on its own would not sell me on the cult of Simone.

Beautiful wine. Such freshness, it honestly defies its 28 years. Ripe fruit shows through, underneath almonds, a floral hint, and saline breeze. Great acidity too . Texture is rich and unctuous but totally light and graceful. This wine is a great experience, pure pleasure, both hedonistic and intellectual.

Not a good showing. At least two years of bottle age did nothing to flesh out this wine. Celery and acid, not deep, just not a good version. I think it's based on 2004, but i'm not sure.

Way too young. Screaming acidity dominated. although the fruit on the nose is lovely. The texture is nice too. Probably needs another 7 years minimum.
