This is still a solid bottle, but every year the price creeps up, and its no longer the solid option it once was. That being said, this wine carries good fruit, a nice mouthfeel, and you could do a lot worse for the price. 85-87
USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley
Hmm, I'm not getting all the goodness that most other tasters did. Maybe my bottle was off. To me, this tasted much like a chard. A rich chard. It wasn't really that enjoyable. 84-86
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin
9/14/09: Beautiful nose. Pure Burgundy, although a little richer then expected. Drinking quite nice right now. 90-92
4/6/09: Wow, tried this two years ago during the Drouhin pre offer. It's coming along quite well. Great fruit, with hints of minerality. Nice fruit. Really drinking well. 89+
Mr Indaba: So, I'm thinking we'll find someone to grow us some grapes, they'll probably get 15 tons to the acre, and we'll let those things hang into they're not quite raisins. Stuff probably won't taste good, so we'll be sure to leave a good portion of sugar unfermented so that sweetness, that'll make people think they taste good.
