Slightly sweet and with a good style. Decent aftertaste with a medium tannin.

Classic Amarone with sour cherries and a hint of vanilla. Unfortunately very short and somewhat bitter in a not so good sense.

A well rounded sweetness with mostly dark plums. Decent balance a overall structure. Not bad but not impressive.

Very overdone and simple to much of everything. The fruit is too sweet and overwhelming with the over-ripe plums as the base.
Simply to much and I the warm vintage has done nothing for this wine other than destroying it.

2003 Le Ragose Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Marta Galli

Huge sweetness but not to much so that it is well integrated into the wine. Great acidity and tannin levels has created a beautiful and powerful Amarone.
Really nice for a modern wine where a sufficient amount of backbone is present to balance out the fruit and wood.
Enjoyed this a lot!!

Huge disappointment as this is a very expensive wine. To its defence the bottle was recently opened but nothing in the wine was especially impressive.
The wine is very compact and dense with a wild and electric acicity but at this point it is just boring.
It did not show me anything that would qualify for a price in the 200$ range.

Old school Amarone in the dessert style. Slight sweetness with dark fruits and almonds. Powerful acidity and massive tannins. Very long and ends with a hint of vanilla.
A really funny wine to taste.

Extremely sweet and clearly to much. However not in the raisin sense.
This wine must clearly age to find itself.
Funny wine to taste but extremely over the top.
