• 2007 Planeta Sicilia La Segreta Bianco

  interesting, a bit stemmy, lemon zest, needs food, with some air lightens up and papaya and melon emerge, a character of a wine, the crowd did not like this very much, one taster commented that it had no identity and the alcohol was too detectable

  pretty, full in flavor, lemonade, orange, crisp mineral, pretty long, clearly the best of the white flight this night, the favorite white wine of the crowd, shows amazing quality, outstanding

  beautiful, full, supple, had all of the sangiovese elements in check, dry, nice acid, extremely well balanced, pleased the entire crowd and shocked some when the low price was announced, (<$13) my WOTN of course

  very aromatic, nose shows a bouquet of flowers, liquorish, anise, cherry, berry, very complex nose, interesting, the palate is full, with loads of black pepper, clove, and dry tannin, was a very love-or-hate wine with the crowd

  nose of violet candy, roses, sandlewood, medium bodied, with black cherries and wood, nice hints of sweetness without going overboard, the crowd seemed to like this one a lot
