Lots of roasted duck, bacon and soy sauce on the nose. Kind of like the 1970 Chateau Giscours a decade ago? Black fruit. Medium+ acid and body, light tannins. Not bad, but I've definitely had better from Rosenblum at a third of the price. $50

Pencil lead and black fruit nose. High-toned acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Good structure. Lots of blueberry! Juicy. Great age. Lightly sweet, but balanced. Reminds me a bit of the 2001 Smith Haut Lafitte.
Odd Kool Aid popsicle nose, with strawberry, cherry and gym sock. Wow, almost fizzy strawberry soda, blueberry. Very smooth, juicy. Hints of barleywine.

Red fruit nose, with a little chalky plum. Acidic, medium+ tannins, good simple red fruit, and fairly fruit-forward and accessible for an 05 Bordeaux.

Nose has some light smoke on it. Smooth, rich but not heavy or jammy. Very light tannins, medium acidity and body. Relatively simple, but pleasant.
