Very petrolly but balanced off with honeysuckle. Nice sun-tanned pineapples flavours, some old cab nuances which ultimately showed itself as a complex array of spice notes. Lovely acidity and balance though.

Smoky minerals accompanying brie cheese nose. Minerals, lots of stones and very pith-y. Dry and didn't exhibit much richness at the start. In fact, was a bit sterile. However, with time, put on more weight with chrysanthamum florals and creaminess, lots of yellow grapefruit and lemons.

Lots of vibrant violets ending with minerals. Cool though slightly bitter fruits full of minerals. Quite forward and somewhat new worldish in being unabashedly upfront but it does distinguish itself with lovely purity...almost like a beam , untainted and finishing clean in the throat. With time, took on some meatiness but still cool on the palate.
Loads of wood, aged furniture, old leather upholdstery, and buckets of dry earth. Very rustic wine with dry palate. Got bark , savory meat and a squeeze of dried berry fruits. This is like a farmer with his soil tainted hands squeezing the grapes to make the wine.
Extremely tough nut to crack.. a testament to the 05 vintage. Extremely closed up. I got some flowers and some prunes? Pepper notes, lifted , alkaline-y but showing good concentrated fruit to last. At the moment , an 82p with potential to blossom further.
Minty eucalpytus with sweet date and cherry showing. Suckling fruit. Aged cherries, and berries with some interesting pandan leaves. Still fresh though.
