  Predominantly undergrowth nose with fruit evaporating with airing; almost light for a Gevrey. Sweet on the attack. Heavy bodied but silky with smooth tannins. Gains structure with airing. Secondary notes showing age. Lingering finish.

  Beautiful perfumed floral nose with a touch of undergrowth showing age. Good structure with red berries. Tannins smoothen with airing. Elegant and restrained.

  Classic pinot nose leaning more towards fruit than flowers with a touch of spice and tobacco. Strawberries and raspberries on the palate. Medium acidity. Less rich and with more finesse than the 1995.
