  • 2007 Tertulia Cellars Viognier 88 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley

    Wow, this is an interesting Viognier! Barrel-aged, and has that buttery Chardonnay flavor. Blind, I'd peg this as a Chard. Citrus and pear flavors, with a touch of that buttery oak.

    Nice Bordeaux blend, a bit softer than I like, but tasty, forward fruit flavors. Not as structured either, but drinking quite nicely. Some raspberry and earthy flavors.

  • 2007 Tertulia Cellars Tempranillo Les Collines Vineyard 91 Points

    USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley

    95% Tempranillo, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Very tasty, with a nice tannic backbone and great acidity. Peppery, and layers of fruit and structure here. I wouldn't think this was a Temp...more like a Walla Walla Syrah.

  • 2006 Tertulia Cellars Syrah Les Collines Vineyard 92 Points

    Not sure why others rated this so poorly. I was quite impressed! Lots of that peppery, bacon fat and blackberry fruit I typically get from WA syrah. Good structure, nice acidity, and integrated tannins. Drinking quite well right now.

  • 2006 Tertulia Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Phinny Hill Vineyard 90 Points

    Nice wine, but I like the Syrah and Tempranillo better. Still quite tannic, and a touch too much wood on the nose. Hold this one for a couple more years.
