Introduction
A mix of wines from our holiday.
The Clos de Tart and Billecart were at the 1* La Ribaudiere, just outside Cognac, good but not great meal this time from the a la carte, pricey. Wines made up for it though, both were €110.

Closing
All washed down with lashings of Pineau and wines from the local Co-op La Cave de Saint Sorin.

Glossy, a real show off of polished oak, exploding yellow fruit, very very bright and showbiz, still very young.

Quite brash, seductive sweet oak, if the 97 was showbiz this is an exotic cabaret. Well balanced sweet fruit and framed acidity. Something just a little harsh in the mouth though.
