Introduction
This event took place in Treiso, one of the three areas where the Barbaresco wine is made. The tasting was very profesionally organized with 52 producers and 88 wine in total, mostly 2006 and 2005 barbarescos, with only few 2004.
All the wines were very pale garnet-red in color, very fruity with smooth tannins in the mouth with a long and sometimes astringent finish. All very young, to be drunk after 2013
I was not able to take detailed note for each tasting, just a score
