Dark red. Spicy cinnamon, moderate firm dry tannin. Redish fruit profile, medium acid and big structure, medium body. Should age for another 5 to 10 years before reaching its plateau.
Medium red color. Well integrated soft, lush tannins. Aromas of dried leaves, raisin, plum, and cherry. Low acid. Soft lush silky body. Full and sweet. A bit of heat but drinking very well now.
Light to medium red color. Soft well integrated tannin. Didn't detect alcohol on the nose but it's hot on the palate. Medium body, fine grain tannin. Low acid and bright red fruit with some baking chocolate on the finish.
Raspberry nose. Light red, almost pink. Mint, earth, and mushrooms on the nose. Really soft tannin. Floral, candy sweet nose, spice, cinnamon and caramel. Fully mature and ready to drink.
Brownish tawny color. The nose is complex with butterscotch, caramel, pecan, wood, cinnamon, and clove. THe palate is lush, sweet, spicy and a little bit hot. A madeira-like nose with some VA and a long finish.
Medium raspberry red color. Moderate fine grained tannins. Some heat on the palate. Red fruit. A bit tight on the nose but opened up with time in the glass. Red fruit, raspberry and cherries. Complex with nice fruit and softer alcohol with good acidity.
Big fruity nose. Sweet red fruit. Looks like it could be an '83 or '85. Medium tannins, fully body. Well integrated alcohol, warm and spicy. Mint and chocolate on the palate. Lots of fruit, complex, big structure and delicious.
The color is a light brown mahogany. The nose has scents of vanilla, oak, orange peel, shoe polish and some VA. The palate has very high acidity with lemony flavors and more orange peel. Warm and spicy with searing acidity.
