Introduction
It's Beaujolais Nouveau Day...lets drink some Beaujolais Nouveau!!!!
Went to dinner with my parents (my mother is CellarTracker User Kermadur) and had the Dupeuble with our meal (along with some other wines)...at home with the same Dupeuble as well as this "Rendez-Vous" from Trader Joe's...the Dupeuble note is from the bottle at home

Both of the wines were much darker colored then I expected for a BN...I didn't have any last year, but the '07 Dupeuble was almost pink and very cloudy...this one was deep red and perfectly clear...neither wine is complex, but they are enjoyable for what they are
2009 Domaine Dupeuble Pere et Fils Beaujolais Nouveau
France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Beaujolais Nouveau
dark red/purple color...aromas of kirsch and powdered sugar, along with some black fruits...cranberry flavors dominate, with some strong acid

deep, clear red color, especially for BN...a lot of red fruits on the nose, along with some bubble gum...clean and clear on the palate, with red fruit flavors, gripping acidity, and a slight spritz
