    USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles

    62% Syrah, 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Malbec. Very fruit driven, tasty, nice finish. Maybe not the best value, but overall a good wine.

  • 2005 Anglim Best Barrel Blend 90 Points

    USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles

    45% Mourvèdre, 45% Syrah, 10% Grenache. Smokey, tobacco nose. Medium-full bodied red/black berries with a little white pepper, smooth long finish. Nicely balanced.

  • 2007 Villa Creek Willow Creek Cuvée 91 Points

    USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles

    50% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 25% Mourvèdre. Nice nose that is slightly floral with black berries. Medium-bodied with some more black/red fruits and a little pepper... very balanced and long finish.

  • 2006 Calcareous Très Violet 90 Points

    64% Syrah, 23% Grenache and 13% Mourvedre. Nice raspberry nose. A little sharp at first (maybe a touch too hot), but good fruit, and a great finish. A little gamy.

  • 2007 L'Aventure Estate Cuvée 93 Points

    USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles

    49% Syrah, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Petit Verdot. Deep purple color. Blueberry, pomegranate, and a touch of mint leaf on the nose. Great blackberry fruit with a super long finish. Super balanced.
