WIMPS December Indulgence - burgundy table

The Ledbury, London

Introduction

A bring a bottle burgundy lunch where the wines couldn't have worked together better even if they'd been carefully chosen to complement each other, with none of them over shadowing each other, and each showing distinct virtues. Every single bottle showed well, especially the quartet of 2002s, which could have proved a bit surly. The Morey Perrières was spectacular.
