A serious champagne. Extrremely fresh! and when I say fresh.. I mean lemon citrus FRESH! But on top of that, this also displays some serious bready notes and some rich custardy buttery component. Maybe taking itself a little too serious, this could take out all the fun but on a special night, this is definitely no NV or MV. As reserve and vintage in quality as showable. Rich and slightly snooty.

A lil oniony and mushroomy ...in fact, very mushroomy and buttery on the nose. Quite juicy and attractive by smell but on the palate, this is a a really big wine in a napa sense with richness of buttery oatmeal , rich minerals and a thick streak of citrusy tones. A golden ripe delicious wine that is pretty good for a village.

Still vibrantly redish. The nose was full of earthy undertones and dry leaves at first with lots of structured red fruits and fresh acidity. At first, a lil big with noticeable pomp but with time, this tamed down with noticeably more minerality showing. Still I didnt quite get that floweriness of a volnay. Quite hard and muscular prob due to the vintage. Still, a very good wine.

Excellent wine! Seductive and hedonistic to begin with....this was all voluptous and juicy plummish and round ...beautifully ripe but still very much restrained. Balanced yet concentrated and densely black fruited with dark choc nuances. Immediately satisfying now but any wine lover would fall for this effort. Whole and nicely brought together especially for the massive oak. This is unfined , unfiltered and unadulterated enjoyment at one of its best! I do love it.

Absolutely sounding out to be drunk. This probably should be drunk now than later. Aged typical bord notes of leather, cigar and tobacco leaves. A bit backward and country road kinda wine but still with sweetness of ripe fruits ...some blueberries . Quite a respected gentleman and drinking like a respectable gentleman should. Nothing too exciting but good.
