  Spain, Murcia, Yecla

  Garnet. Nose of plum and blackfruit. Soft tannins w/ good acidity. Decent finish. Tied for third overall.

  Garnet. Floral and blackfruit on the nose. Soft tannis slightly greater than the acidity.Good finish. Mine and the group's 2nd favorite of the night.

  When I opened it, I got the brett but w/ my cold got inured to it. Mark, in fact, dumped his. I found it acidic and not in balance.

  Deep ruby. To me this had a cedar-y nose which I dislike but others enjoyed. Light-weight mouthfeel and no tannins to speak of. Somewhat short finish.
