More of everything compared to the Moris Farms Morellino di Scansano. Still nice aromatics. Mixed in with the floral aspects and red fruits, there seemed to be a tobacco element that I liked. Longer finish. Nice.
Lighter in color than the last two. Consistent with the really nice aromatics and red fruits. Lots of fresh cherry juice. Added to this one was some distinct minerality. Almost a saline element. Very nice!
This one has got a little more earth funkiness which I like. Very smooth grip. Lots of fresh, vibrant red fruits. Delicious but needs food and a little more time.
Bigger and rougher than all the others. A little earthiness. Something funky going on with the initial attack on this wine. Definitely seems disjointed. May come together in time but I'm not betting on it.

A little light for my taste. Nice fresh red fruits. Tannins seemed a bit grainy.

2007 Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico 90 Points

More acidic than the earlier wines. Cherries and other red fruit. Definitely a bigger frame and body. More tannic.
