There's nice sweet strawberry fruit on the nose. Lovely fresh palate. Quite highly flavoured. Willi recommended eating a strawberry with it, but I didn't find it helped it overly. Lovely wine, though.

A lovely honey and melon nose - utterly winning. On the palate, it's light and delicate with great poise. Lovely stuff. Really enhanced by a honey melon soup that was served with it.
A rather strange, slightly musty, earthy nose - you can feel the pinot, but it just feels wrong in what you know is a sweet wine! There's quite a syrupy feel in the mouth, and I have to say, I'm not overly impressed. It was improved by the chocolate brownie offered with it, but not much.
A gorgeous nose - not overly muscatty. There's a lovely weight on the palate. Very sweet, but it is rescued from being cloying by the muscat fragrance in the mouth. Some fresh pineapple was served with this, which really improved the wine as well being a really harmonious match.
A remarkably delicate nose, with tropical fruits and just a slight rose fragrance. Lovely sweet, delicate gewurz flavours on teh palate. Much more delicately hendled than many Alsace SGNs.
Pears and honey on the nose. Amazing palate. Sublime. There's lots and lots of sweetness of fruit and honey. Immense concentration, but also a lovely acidity. Gorgeous.

A blend of pinot gris & pinot blanc. Nice, open and easy with very good characcter. Really improved with the olives that Willi serves with it.

This has a really very attractive nose - quite red fruits and some sweet vanilla are what leap out mainly. Lovely plummy palate. Very good structure.
