Wow Claude, that's quite a statement. I wish we had some explanation. I thought this was pretty tasty stuff. Bright citrus and peachy fruit. The nose is actually quite nice. Floral. Nice peachy fruit on the palate. Pretty good stuff, and an incredible value. 87+
4/9/10: We did try this last time warm, which might have led to me less than enthusiastic response. This time served with a chill. Pretty much what you'd expect from a bargain priced Aussie chard, but less sweet and oaked up. I'd even venture as far as to say it's a solid value. 83-84
1/22/10: This was by far the worst wine of the Oxford Landing line up. Sweet and oaky. Wretched, with no balance, and low acidity. 79
Perhaps I'm biased, b/c I so rarely find anything I like that's produced in large quantities out of Australia. This isn't exciting, and it's simple, but it also tastes like wine, not jam. Nice fruit, and solidly made.
