Introduction

Group of 8 (Allan and Karin, Betty and me, Juha and Nancy and Miguel and Christian) enjoyed the dramatic setting and had a wonderful meal. All of us enjoyed the 3 course menu selection with an amuse bouche to start and sweet tidbits to finish. Focus on the wines, courses samples included abalone, diver scallops, sea bass, rack of lamb, duck breast

Flight 2 - Local Pinot from Pisoni Vineyard (1 Note)

2001 Miura Pinot Noir Pisoni Vineyard 92 Points

Terrific pinot, great fruit and balance, did not note any stemminess. Enjoyed 2 bottles with another group on the next evening and had the same rating. Great value for a Pisoni vineyard Pinot, and not overly extracted like some...more classical style

Very impressive, has developed very nicely in the bottle. Wonderful fruit, lovely mouthfeel and balance with long finish
