For the past few days if anybody starts a new thread and I click the icon to the left of the thread to go to the last unread post, read through the thread and return to the forum it does not mark the thread as read at that point. No matter how I try it. Only the "Mark this forum read" link in the upper right clears all threads as read.

Odd thing is older threads like Active Users, I Just Drank, etc...seem to be OK and functioning normally.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Appears to be working fine for me.

No, but yesterday on my iPad, I lost the icon that you click to go to the last post… had to click the topic and then go back to get to the latest post.
I just cleared all the cookies and history in settings and after that it worked fine.
Might try that?

Clearing cookies for cellartracker.com seems to have cleared it up.

How about that. It takes a Cookie to clear a cookie. Makes sense.

I'm absolutely getting the same behavior as WIML, but only on the ipad. Older threads get marked as read after viewing the last page but all the new ones never seem to acknowledge that I've read them. Not happening on my desktop or lappys

Dude, you are running a serious risk of an administrative a**-chewing for not posting this in the Support forum

I had problems with "last post" so now I just go to the last page and work to where I left off. I also don't usually show up when I am at home on my iPad because if I go to a different web site it logs me out. I am only visible immediately after I post. First world issues... :)

This has been happening to me again for the last few days. Maybe one of the admins needs to clear some cache data to reset the behavior?

Yep. This cleared it up.... it's not on the forum side, it's an iPad thing.

Gotta remember this trick

I get a frozen sire when using the forum on iOS 8. I just close the window and reopen.

In case you haven't noticed, Apple has broken a bunch of stuff in Safari on iOS8. Nothing is wrong with this forum software. Nothing has changed in 9 years. There is nothing I can change to work around Apple's caching bugs.
