2007 Janasse CdR while making the stuffing,  JJ Prum Auslese while making the pumpkin pie.  While I won't be eating either until tomorrow, I will be licking my fingers and need a good pairing.

wonderful day off
Beer with breakfast (channeling away the pjaines hangover)

simple white Rhone with dinner. Mrs, is running a 5k in the morning. No more Cognac for her!

About to polish off the barbera I've been enjoying prior to going to a b-day happy hour, then dinner, then shopping for all the Thanksgiving goodies we'll be making. Busy night for sure---need wine!

2010 Buty Chardonnay Cooner Lee and 2009 Barb & Chris Bing Cherry Wine from Cowiche... Sitting in this HUGE 7000sq+ home only a few minutes walk to Grove Park Inn that is our "home" for next 4 days... Thank you kind patrons! Ready to get real mellow!

sounds wonderful--definitely better than dinner with the Clampetts.
Rest well--drink well.

Bet it's not as "cherry" as Barb & Chris Bing Cherry Wine... A mite fizzy at the start but settling down now, as I am too!

5:25pm. 2007 Chappelet Mountain Cuvee with chicken quesadillas. Nothing great, but it was nice to be home at a decent time ahead of four days off.

NV Contadi Casraldi Brut. Not bad for an inexpensive Italian Champagne blend. Finished up some K.C. style BBQ ribs sans wine and now nibbling on cheese and crackers. The bubbles go well with an aged Gouda.
