Just got Chubb Masterpiece Valuables insurance for my wine. It’s a blanket insurance policy.

I have some wine stored in the UK and I included that in the total amount I insured. Does anyone know if the insurance covers wine during transit from the UK to the US?

Insuremywine’s site says the coverage is global and also follows the wine during transit/ move.

The actual policy is completely silent on it - ie it neither explicitly excludes wine stored overseas not it explicitly says the wine is covered if stored overseas and during transit.

Please let me know if you know more about this.

I would call Chubb AND the broker for their take on it. 1-800-68 CHUBB. (I can't believe I still remember the number 18 years after I stopped working there!)
