From: Eric LeVine Sent: Thursday, April 10, 2003 12:16 AM Subject: CellarTracker! v1.0.10 & 1.0.11 OK, two big changes today: 1) v1.0.10: I built a ‘Guest’ account that can browse the site but not edit. This will be useful as I open the site to more people and want them to see what it is about. (Yep, sorry, I am reaching out to a few more folks—and not from lack of great feedback from you!) 2) v1.0.11: Quick Search!!! Holy **** did this turn out as a cool feature! Thanks for pushing me in this direction. Now in the TOC pane on the left there is a quick search edit control. Type whatever you want into it and click on the search button. Whammo. So if you type “Ciel du Cheval” it will find ALL wines from that vineyard. If you type “2000 Pahlmeyer” then it will find you all 2000 Pahlmeyer wines regardless of varietal. Type “pauillac” and whammo, there is your subset of Bordeaux. You can also choose whether to scope the search just to your cellar or to the whole database. It doesn’t sound like much, but I think this one little edit control will dramatically alter how I personally use the site and search. I honestly doubt if I will use the query page much any more, as this little doodad blows it away! Sigh, I am trying to get as much done as I can this week… Thanks, Eric LeVine
