My first impression was wrong.
COSTCO may be the biggest wine seller in the USA but the storage conditions are much to be desired.
My heart dropped last year when I went to the back to pick up 04 First growth. The temperature where the boxes were siting on the floor was close to 75F, and if this is how the 1st growth is treated, I can only imagine what they do with $20 Beaujolais.

The good news is:
then wine is fine, not 100 points fine as some TN suggest, but fine nevertheless. I bought 3 more bottles.
