This is anther one of those things that frustrates me slightly, and perhaps is an easy thing for you to "fix"...

I seem to run across quite a few (Portuguese) wines not in the database, so they need adding.

Stage one of the process is to attempt to find, and, if not found, to add, the producer.
So I click "Edit" producer and type in the producer name, and click "Find".
If the producer is found, all well and good, I pick it.
But, if the producer is not found, I need to click "Add a New Producer" in order to add it - and here's the drag - the text entry field is blank, and I have to type that producer name yet again. This process would be a lot easier if the text field for "Add a New Producer" was already populated with the previous search field.

And then I have to add the Designation, and the same process is repeated - I type the required designation, or part thereof and, if it isn't found, when I click "Add" the text field is empty - pre-populating with what I'd typed previously would make things a lot easier.

Actually - one small problem...

I searched for "São Filipe" - not found - but in the "Add" section the tilde had gone missing.

That has nothing to do with my changes. That string IS already in use for another wine.

You added this: https://www.cellartracker.com/editwine.asp?iWine=2210028
But that string has been used here for years on this wine: https://www.cellartracker.com/wineadmin.asp?iWine=1154327

The string can only exist in one form, so an admin has to approve whether to add the accent or not.
