Anyone have any experience with this Pomerol? I decanted for about 2 hours and the wine was terrible. Tasted like cough medicine gone bad and very astringent. Is it me, is it the wine or is it defective?

This wine has been brutally tannic both times that I tasted it.  It is like a 75 Bordeaux in that respect.  If I had any more, I would hold for another 10-12 years before opening.  Truthfully, I doubt if the fruit ever comes forward but you can always hope.
