Eric,
I am providing information about a wine, following the discussion on the general forum: Re retailer tasting notes.

There is a duplicate entry for:
2009 World's End Cabernet Sauvignon Good Times, Bad Times

Additionally, the (now removed) tasting note on wine 1348840 is remarkably (almost verbatim) the same as the tasting note in the offering I received from JJ Buckley. On their website it clearly indicates the TN is from JJ Buckley Fine Wines.

TN from website (email) As follows:
JJ Buckley Fine Wines:
"Deep scarlet rim, contrasted by an inky black core. Seductive aromas of cherry and black fruit leap from the class on an expressive bouquet. Mouthwatering on entry, with captivating kirsch, mocha, limestone and a touch of cedar. The multidimensional mid-palate is impressively complex, bursting with plush black cherry and a luxurious, velvety texture. Caressing tannins linger over a long and memorable finish. Plenty of minerality and acidity counter the delicious fruit to make this wine serious. Epic.Cult Bordeaux winemaker, Jonathan Maltus is responsible for this top shelf California cabernet that comes from the famed single vineyard, To Kalon Beckstoffer. Decant tonight and pair with a prime-aged steak. Already showing brilliantly, it
will continue to evolve and offer great pleasure over the next 20 years. This is the real deal, awesome for the vintage."

I don't know what is allowed/OK or not. It just simply didn't sit right with me. I only discovered the similarities when research on CT if I would be interested in the offer or not.

Thanks.

To make things easier for all of us in the future. When you hover over the tasting note, a dropdown arrow appears. Click it for a menu with a REPORT link. No email client required. No separate posting. Just easily doing it right through the website.
