My "My Recent Wines" list is filled with...well, let's be kind and call them wines I won't be buying again anytime soon. It kind of looks like the list of movies studios dump in January when they know everyone is spent out from the holidays. Get them out of the queue and make room for something else.
Am I the only one whose quality dropped off post-holiday? I did not do this on purpose, it just kind of worked out that way, but it has cleared out some things.

Oh Contraire!
I cleared out a bunch of "crap" at parties and made room for some good stuff that will be showing up over the next few months!
I actually poured out 2 magnums at one "event"!

I'm more in this camp as well...I made a conscious effort to sell/move wines I don't enjoy as much any more and try to avoid opening wines I'm not likely to enjoy.

My strategy for inventory-clearance is this: We have a glass cuvee with a spigot at the bottom, that holds about 14 bottles of wine. I'm going to wait until my peaches are ready to harvest this summer, cut up a bunch of them and put them in the cuvee, fill with miscellaneous wine, and invite our wine club over to guzzle sangria....
