A few CTers and other close friends celebrated M’s milestone birthday last night. Today is his actual birthday. Thanks to M’s better half for organizing! It was a great time and lovely to see the crew again.

Happy Birthday!

Look at all those yummy 1979's. Very nice bucket of d'Yquem too.

Happy Birthday! I see an Arboreous in the mix. I suspect a certain wine strategy was in the house!

Nice lineup Dom--happy bday Mikey.

It was a great lineup indeed, but I can only take less than 10% credit. Generous C, fellow CTers and friends who brought the wines. It was so interesting to have the different vintages and taste them side by side. I have an even deeper appreciation for d’Yquem.

Wow! What a party that was!! We ended up with 15 or so vintages of Yquem, which was pretty special. Plus the '79 Bordeaux and Heitz, a '76 DP, a '00 Quintarelli Amarone and a few other treats. I'm a lucky (and slightly older) boy!

#doesntsuck

Thanks all! Wish we could share these with you all as well!!
