Hello,

There is an older Eurocave for sale near me for $300, but I can't find any similar models on the internet.

I will see at it in person tomorrow, and was wondering if anyone had any information about this model and if it is worth the price.

The seller says it is in good working condition and came from an estate sale.

Here are some pictures of it. Any help with model identification, year or value is appreciated!

Does it come with the wine inside?

Actually yes it does, although I don't know what kind of wine and whether or not it is corked 🤔

My main concern i about the eurocave is how old it is and if it's worth the asking price of $300.

It looks like there are some brands like Frigidaire Hisense and Ivation at a similar price new.

I’ve never owned a wine cooler. Based on another thread where a brand new or slightly used ones are several thousands of dollars, I would look at the unit and make sure that the seals aren’t cracked and there aren’t any holes. At best case, you may need a new cooling unit eventually. So I would price that out. If you have a smart phone, you can probably Google the unit make and model to confirm if the new cooling units can be swapped out or there are any other advice via YouTube.

Thanks, DoubleD. I ended up looking at the unit, and it is a First 120 from year 2006. I should have asked to plug it in and wait until the motor turned on.

I did some searching about this model and can't seem to fund much online regarding replacement parts or even a user manual. From what I hear these units can last 30+ years, but I'm worried that it could have problems and I'll be stuck trying to fix it with little information or parts and possibly having to dispose of it. It's quite heavy and the dimensions are 26.0" W x 41.0" H x 25.0" D, so I'd have to rent a van just to pick it up.
