Status: offline 		I know various states (including mine) have laws against alcohol being sold and shipped across state lines.  Do the laws apply to wine being sent as a gift across state lines?  If this practice is legal, does Cellar Tracker give users access to other users for the purpose of trading wines?  I am a new member so please forgive me if these are idiotic questions.  I can view other users cellars but is there a way to contact other members??  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Status: offline 		I believe the laws for "gifting" and selling wine between non-reciprocal states are the same.  The good news is that more states are reciprocal than ever before, but you would have to be very thorough to make sure you knew the laws of each state.  The thought of trading between CT users is, of course, very tempting, but I imagine that Eric would not want to begin to get involved in the legalities of that.

Status: offline 		Someday I hope to allow more peer-to-peer interaction ala a 'classified service' but somewhat at an arm's length from CellarTracker. But for now there is no real interaction. Sorry.
