I just bought a 3 pack of the 2010 Beaucastel Hommage. Does anyone have blueprints for a good dog house?

I hear used wine crates make good construction material, and used corks make for good insulation.

I'd let you come on down to stay with me for awhile, but then my wife might kill me as well ...

Hey ... Maybe we can put up a couple of cots at my wine storage facility ... order some pizza.

The box looks kind of pretty, maybe that will be enough to get it past the inspection. If I'm really lucky she will miss the word "Hommage", but I doubt it because she knows I already bought a case of the 2010 standard Beaucastel. Must think of how to spin this.

Tell her by buying a case of standard Beaucastel, you get 3 bottles of "Hommage" free.

I like this one. I'll say I had to pay up front, but will be getting a rebate in the future. You are some smart peeps!

Tell her it's an investment - in10 years you will flip it for major coin and take her on a trip somewhere!

Looking for sympathy from this crowd is like trying to draw water from a dry well.

They will just wait until she kills you then raid the cellar.

Sorry Geppetto, you sound like a nice guy. There's no getting around this. Honesty is the best policy here.

just tell her the truth

Oh, by the way, would you mind posting your physical address and loosening the security settings on your CT cellar before you do?

If she's trying to get even for 3 bottles of Hommage it better be Prada

I have alway been fascinated by how many purses my wife needs. She loves Coach, but she has more purses than I have socks. Men are from Mars... is my take on this one.

Glad she was good with the Hommage. I saw 2 cases at one of my locals and didn't even want to stare into the open OWC as I thought it might be rigged with some kind of tractor beam.

Its funny that we squawk about the price of Bordeaux, yet we pay for other things and just hope to get away with it. Been there done that.

I once bought a purse that caused the credit card company to call Mr Cookie on the golf course...

While my wife has plenty of purses, it is shoes in our household. A little while after I started dating her, my future brother-in-law told me that I should never under any circumstances question the number of shoes. Once or twice I have slipped. But in general, while I still don't understand, I have kept quiet.

She said something that had two letters. LB or L something. All I know is that when I said I would drive her down to the mall, she said the mall wouldn't do... Apparently this is going to require a trip to the fashion district downtown.

If I knew buying expensive wine was going to be this easy, I would have started years ago. How expensive can a little purse be? Heck, buy two!

This thread is so funny.  It could be the title of half of the threads on this forum.

And geppetto is so innocently thinking a) he got away with it, and b) a purse or two is cheap.

Purses for Dr. M and I buy them... For me Italian slippers. Love 'em... and from time to time a bottle or two of vino.
