Pastellas and Morcilla at Los Pinos on the Pork Highway.

I see what looks like a green (herb?) aioli or similar on that.

What the heck is on top? Is that a hash brown.

Status: offline 		Spent the day in Inverness and had dinner at Rocpool. A friend that works for Diagio took me over to Singleton. What a great day!

Status: offline 		A new creation this week. Pineapple salsa over sockeye salmon with roasted bok choy. The salsa started out with a standard recipe, used what we had (anaheim peppers were a good choice in place of bell) and added to it to get a final salsa taste and consistency. Diced pineapple, anahiem pepper, purple onion, blood orange, lime, cilantro, soy sauce, honey, crushed red pepper, salt. The salmon is wild caught by our son-in-law Chilkat River, AK.

We ate about a third with rice and will make tacos tonight or tomorrow with the rest. I tried a rhone white, but switched to cerveza, as the beverage.

Status: offline 		I'm in Scotland to watch my son play few football matches this week. Yesterday was a free day for me so I skipped over to Edinburgh to have lunch at The Kitchin. Ever since Anthony Bourdain ate here, I've wanted to visit. I finally got my chance and it didn't disappoint!
