ODDS AND ENDS When it rains it pours, and today it seemed like a handful of bugs came out of the woodwork: (1) My new change to make it easier to add/edit a UPC exposed a subtle difference between IE and Mozilla/FireFox such that a user would be taken to the screen to edit the vintage in Mozilla/FireFox. That is now fixed. (2) The code for doing UBB-style hyperlinks was case sensitive and would only recognize the lower case forms of . That is now fixed. (3) When deleting a tasting event, the associated flights and tasting note associations were not properly cleaned up. Now they are. (4) I added new icons for dessert white and reds. They are subtly different from the existing icons, shorter/smaller glasses. (5) The site now supports both 12 and 13 digit UPC's. (6) I cleaned up a number of underlying issues around wine editing and UPC's. Formerly, if you created an entirely new wine that happened to match an existing one, and if you also specified a UPC, it would be lost. Not any more. Likewise, when merging wines, if the destination wine and source wines differed in their UPC, this was lost. Now things are handled appropriately. Finally, when editing a shared wine, if it currently doesn't have a UPC and your only change is to the UPC, the change takes effect immediately instead of queuing for approval. Whew!
