- Crimsom color.

Must have been an awfully nice shade of "crimsom" to get that 93!

A crimsom color wheel challenge would demonstrate how little attention is paid to color shades.

This was awful. Who would want a creamy, minerally, saline, textural mouth-bomb? My mistake for buying it, please don't. Thanks!

Strategic tasting note

We both like it a real lot very smooth no aftertaste

What if you like wines that have an aftertaste?

I own a bottle. Is it evoluting in a good or bad direction? Might I hope for 81pts?

Is aftertaste a synonym for grammar and punctuation?

By virtue of "likes this wine," hopefully evoluting in a good direction?

Not as good as I expected.

Probably a typo but if not, this taster has high standards!

GG wine tasting. Didn't rate this, neither did the group.

That's just British English, meaning "didn't think it was very good".

Saturday, October 21, 2023 - 40th anniversary tasting (L'Esprit du Vin - Axelborg): My notes from this fantastic gigantic tasting are in general extremely short (because of the many wines) but with ratings. We spent a whole day tasting and tasting quality wines.

This wine: No notes taken.

It would have been less effort to tell me something about the wine instead of the explanation of why there's no note

Interesting but not very helpful tasting note for a 2008 Cavallotto Barolo Riserva Vignolo:

Likely too early to have drank.also, it was a 2006 not a 2008

I can't stand it when someone posts a note like this and doesn't accept comments.

4/28/2024 - VINOBAY WROTE: 79 points
No need to decant — almost zero dregs in the bottle. Cork had only 1/4” of coloring, with crystals sealing the wine from 18 years of cellaring. Nose of cassis, herbs, and leather, layered deep dark color, no signs of tawny edges. Aged perfectly! Blended fruit, acidity, and tannins gives it a very smooth, clean finish. One word - Amazing!
