Now all we get is that abominable Yossarian fellow. Interest levels and forum participation peak and wane. The Colonel is often stuck in the kingdom so his participation has to have limits. I too wondered about drop offs and have message several people in the past that participated often once upon a time. One was GoodtoGrape. He was a a SS recipient years ago, and he has popped back once or twice explaining that he reads often, but a new career path has him worked to the bone. He has not forsaken us. PBM hasn't posted much, but like Yodaddyo, has prioritized his son wrestling career sand one can find no fault in that. Doug, has reminded me that we are a quirky, cat-like group subject to serial collecting and getting caught up in the regular life. I asked Sric about this one time and his answer made a lot of sense. Sometimes our different occupations and family obligations add up and during those overlapping times forums often slow down. It's nothing abnormal, but never worry about dropping a PM to those you have grown to accept as family. Many times attempted humor doesn't pass well through the wine boards, but most of us are very good hearted people with no ill intent. I know I can come off as snarky and opinionated, but I don't really mean to be. I have often found it easy to play devils advocate, even if my true opinion is 180 degrees in a different direction. We have a load of strong personalities on the forum, but when we get a chance to meet up in person, and hoist a glass together... I can truly say that there are few groups that can compete with this wonderful and hospitable group. Those that have wandered will come back in due time. It's a busy time of year for all people involved in finance. It does make me happy to see the UK contingent represent as well as those in Asia. May we soon get more representation from Canada, a very strong WS group. We have had check ins from the Torinto Wine Cru and some from Montreal. I know English as a second language is difficult, but I really like seeing comments and TNs from all over a Western Europe. Maestro is definitely missed. I haven't seen him on the spectator board or Advocate group. It's hard with real names vs screen names. Maybe I'll have to have my name legally changed to CiH. I think all is well.
