My eyes drifted to some of your recent reviews... so excited to taste at GB Burlotto next week, after reading your notes.

....with EZ Cheez!

Sun dried tomato Wheat Thins are great with sharp white cheddar too. Don't read the ingredients though. You'd ingest less chemicals licking the floor of a Dow plant.

Nice Tim.

While not about crackers per se, I do like this scoring rating system, I am going to talk about crackers and carbs.

I see the influx of excessive carbs and sugar everywhere. In Central America people die young because they don't drink enough water. It weird walking around at 37-38 and seeing very few people perspire. Yet in the stores and on the street so much from Coca-cola/Fanta is everywhere. There's plenty of frescos around which is fresh fruit juice in a bag with chopped ice and a straw from which to drink it out of, but tons of sugar, but a source of vitamins. Still the excess sugar pushed ruins kidneys.

I'm pretty much in the boat of enjoying wines and cheeses, but give me some crusty bread before passing me the crackers.
If I do crackers they are water crackers from Breton and I minimizase them.

Saltines are kept in the house strictly for medical reasons, when one is sick amd can on,y stomach watered down ginger tea and saltines.

Great input into the forum, and I doubt you have made any enemies.

I give saltines an R+ for medicinal reasons. I would much rather try a bowl of pastina and chicken broth.

the best stoneground crackers are in TJ's - or you can get them in bulk in Canadian Costco's

96! today but could earn a few more cherished points if paired with some nice wine crackers (100% whole grain, of course).

Agreed - marketing is often a tremendous force for bad, when we have our consumer hats on - I think that's true whether one is reading 'numbers' or not.

We are slaves to marketing, and they know it. Remember when you were young and saw a TV commercial for a cool toy? You HAD to have it after that! Christmas, birthday.... or whatever other reason you could concoct to try to convince your parents to get it for you.
