Just curious, are those good prices? They look like retail prices.

I did a quick search on wine-searcher pro for a few of the above wines and it appears that they're more or less being offered just under wine-searcher low prices. So, close to retail if not a bit under.

I don't know if the prices are good or not, and if I did know these were smoking deals I would have posted it in that thread. I do know some of you go gaga for these wines, and figured I'd share. Either way is good with me - I was just trying to keep my Enable Status at the Diamond Club level.

All definitively higher than release. Almost none are a full 3-pack which looks like a buyers remorse sale.

Isn't NG $95 on the mailing list, shipping included?

Some retailers get an allocation, then sell it. That is how I have bought Cayuse at Wray’s supermarket in Yakima. At one time I bought 3 vintages of GOK that had been held by Wray for vague reasons. I paid similar pricing to this “sale”. Higher than mailing list pricing but not secondary market mark-up.

Not sure now but release price for 2010s were $65 each and 2011s were $70 each. Those were prices sans shipping

They may be higher than mailing list, but if you're on the list you probably don't need them anyway. To me, the prices are similar to secondary market....

Standing here with my dad (drinking wine of course)...the Horse Powers on this list are within a few dollars of what he paid on release

Guys (and gals), I'm just trying to help some fellow wine nerds out with an offer that might have appealed to a few of you.

We can assess how many enabler bonus points I get based on selling price versus release price if we must though.

No harm Cran since Cayuse buyers know the market and values anyway.

If I were interested, I sure would have appreciated this post.

Well, I appreciated the post. Not being a list member for Cayuse, I bit on three bottles. Two Widowmaker and one Flying Pig. I’m satisfied!

Good snag. Those prices are less for the 2012 & 2013 bottles I bought from Benchmark. The 2016 Flying Pig is really cheap. That Wine usually gets a big after market premium.

Without having done any research, my sense is that the horsepowers and armadas are very nicely priced.

Sorry but any enabler points earned were negated by posting the offer two hours late. But the thought was there.

...but ....but .....but I posted it as soon as I saw it! Even better grounds for appeal: Eric bought 3 bottles. The evidence is plain as day in his post:

My litigator believes I should take the matter to a higher court.

Cran, don't be so sensitive. You posted, that was cool, and the second poster asked about the prices and that's why I (and many of us, presumably) responded. It was any assessment of your post...mostly providing information to the second poster and anyone else looking. I'm glad you posted it.
