Riesling goes with everything spicy.

Riesling. A Mosel Feinherb or Spatlese, preferably.

+1 to everything already posted - spicy food cries out for a little bit of sweetness in a wine. The whites mentioned should work, and ripe reds (including zin and some rhones) work well as long as the alcohol isn't high enough to stick out.

Slightly to my surprise I found this Grenache blende from Maury Sec paired rather well with a spicy sauce recently.

I agree with all of the above, I will often pair spicy BBQ with GSMs, just have to watch that the alcohol is well integrated.

I've used the Stubbs Spicy before, and it has a pretty good bite in the finish for a commercial sauce. I think the only wine match would be an off-dry Riesling. Really it calls for Barleywine or big DIPA more than a wine.
YMMV.

Iced tea.
American Lager.
Water.
Riesling, California Zinfandel or California Syrah LAST.

Choices, choices, choices.

I think I’ve settled on a 2016 Dutton-Goldfield Riesling (from Marin County). I don’t know how sweet it is. Normally, if I see the words sweet or off-dry I run the other direction. Our wine collection is still predominantly from CA and WA. We do hope to expand soon. My father would be rolling over in his grave, if he knew we didn’t have any Mosel wines.

I don’t like beer. The hub can’t have red wine and spicy food at the same time (he loves both), which is a shame since a GSM sounds fabulous.

crisp , clean (not hazy or too sappy) IPA.... Or a nice cellar-cold Grenache, via central coast

OMG! Isn't there a clause in the CT Forum rules that say you can't even mention not liking beer?

Throwing in a vote for Rose. Grenache, Syrah base, or whatever you have. Dry works, but a hint of off-dry works to offset the heat.

My vote: Either a Rose, like the Mordoree Tavel RdB, or an off-dry Gewürztraminer or an off-dry pinot Gris.

Iced tea is traditional. If you must have wine, Sagrantino or perhaps Chenin Blanc. The latter is remarkably versatile with fatty meats.

Another thought especially if it is a warm Summer day would be to make up a pitcher of Sangria.
