Apparently there are various Bakator varieties in existence (at least Bakator piros, red; Bakator tüdőszínű, pink - neither of which is considered "black" i.e. true red variety). Furthermore, to my understanding, (Feher) Bakator is a synonym for white Ezerjó variety only in transylvania, not in Szrem where Oszkár Maurer is doing wines. I don't know if a truly red (black) Bakator exists as well. Based on how Maurer makes a golden-colored Bakator with 8 days of skin contact, the variety obviously isn't black or red, but most likely white or perhaps gray/pink. However, there is no evidence that maurer's Bakator would be Feher Bakator aka. Ezerjó. Perhaps it would make most sense just to add "Bakator" to CT and it could be used for both reds and whites?
